我们可以为不同年级的本科生提供各类科研实践机会和平台，学生可以在自己的兴趣爱好基础上，选择基于野外调查、室内实验、数据挖掘等方式探索生物多样性、全球变化、植物生态学等领域相关的问题。欢迎感兴趣的同学联系我们以讨论可能的大创项目或毕业论文。

• 博士研究生~PhD student

我们每年通常有1名博士研究生招生名额，欢迎对生物多样性、群落生态学、植物生态学、生物统计学等感兴趣的同学，通过邮件联系陈宇新。在来信中请：（1）简述为什么你想攻读博士学位；（2）告诉我们为什么你想加入我们；（3）畅想一下，若加入我们，你计划通过怎样的方法探索怎样的问题；（4）随信附上简历，请别忘记在简历中简介你的研究兴趣、研究特长、已经取得的研究成果等。若你的来信中没有包含上述4方面的材料，而仅仅是咨询名额，很抱歉，我们将不会回复你的邮件。

We are always looking for PhD students who are curious about plant ecology, biodiversity, community ecology, or biostatistics. We expect that you have strong quantitative skills and programming experience with R, or have strong willingness to learn such skills. Prospective students are encouraged to send an email to Yuxin Chen (yuxin.chen"AT"xmu.edu.cn) to discuss your fits in the lab. Please include the following materials on the email: (1) a cover letter with a brief statement about why you are interested in the position, your research interests and research experience, (2) CV, and (3) a copy of transcript.

Non-Chinese students can apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship, which can cover the tuition fees, and offer free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy, stipend and comprehensive medical insurance.
